Day 1 - Kyiv

City tour - the Golden Gate Monument, built in 1017, the commerce zone, the Opera house, the University, Vladmir Cathedral, the Church of Saint Andrew at the Andreyevski Street full of art galleries.
Transfer to a Hotel.

Day 2 - Kyiv

Excursion to Kiev Pechersk Monastery with visiting Caves.
Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is a unique monastery complex, which is included in UNESCO world heritage list.

Excursion “Ancient Kyiv”.
You will visit Old Kiev Hill, observe the duplicate of the basement of Decimal Church, built in the 10th century and destroyed during the tatar-mongol invation in 1240. A unique specimen of the Old Rus architecture is considered to be St. Sophia's Cathedral (1037), mosaics, frescos, preserved to our days are of a great value. The Golden Gates (the 11th century) project an unforgettable impression upon visitors. The Golden Gates were part of fortification constructions, were destroyed in the 13th century, during the II World War and reconstructed in the 20th century. Exactly these Gates inspired a famous composer Musorgsky for writing a musical composition "Pictures from the exhibition". You will have a chance to see monuments to outstanding historical figures, which left a significant trace in the history: the monument to Prince Volodimir, a baptizer of Kiev Rus, to the outstanding Princes Olga, famous for its political activity as in Ukraine, so in abroad (the 10th century), to Prince Yaroslav the Wise, also to Bogdan Khmelnitsky.
Walking down Andriivsky Uzviz (Andrew’s Descent). Open-air souvenir market is located here.
Visiting a St. Sofia`s Cathedral, a magnificent work of art built in 1037. It is the most vivid example of the Old Rus architecture and monumental art for this place, was built and decorated when the state of Kyiv Rus was living through the peak of its prosperity. Here grand princes were crowned and buried, formal ceremonies and receptions of envoys were help, the first known library in ancient Rus and the first school for boys and girls were founded by Yaroslav the Wise.

Day 3 - Kyiv - Medzhybizh – Kamyanets-Podilsky

Excursion around the City.
The first records about it appeared in Ipatievski chronicles of 1146. Some rests of the ancient settlement dated XI-XIII remained, which evidence that Medzhibozh was a frontier point with good fortifications. From the end of XII century it belonged to Galitsko-Volynsk principality. In 1241, the Golden Horde managed to capture the town. In order to ensure the protection from the enemies the walls were erected and trenches were dug out.
The town preserved the Large Castle dated back to XIV—XVI centuries and the Palace of XVI century on the territory of the castle. The town is considered to be a cradle of Hasid movement in Judaism, as here in 1740-60 lived Israel Baal Shem Tov – the founder of the Hasid movement. Today dozen thousands of people from all over the world come to his grave.

Day 4 -  Kamyanets-Podolsky – Khotyn - Chernivtsi

Kamyanets-Podilsky City tour with inside visit to Old Fortress and New Castle.
According to the medieval chronicles the fortress in Kamyanets-Podilsky was built in the second half of the 14th century by the Lithuanian prince Koryatovych. Kamyanets-Podilsky is a town that has preserved the spirit of the Middle Ages. Its impressive fortress is a landmark in the history of construction of fortified places and strongholds. The town`s scenic beauty is enhanced by the Polish and Russian Gates, Armenian Bastions, Turkish Bridge (enigma of centuries), Dominican Roman-Catholic Church (14-17century), Trinitarian Roman-Catholic Church, Petropavlivska (Peter and Paul’s) Church, Mykolayivska Church (14th century), Polish and Armenian Market Squares, and other ancient monuments.
Departure to Khotyn.
Excursion to the Khotyn’s Fortress
and Khotyn Town: St. Trinity’s Trenches, towers and dungeons, the Entrance Gate.
Khotyn was a trade hub in the Middle Ages, fortunately situated at the crossroads of trade routs. It is believed to have been founded in the 11th century. Important architectural landmarks within the city include the Khotyn Fortress, constructed in the 13-15th  centuries (new fortress started in 1325, major improvements in 1380s and 1460s), and two 15th  century constructions: the Prince's Palace (Palatul Domnesc) and the city's clock tower.

Day 5 - Chernivtsi – Yaremche – Kolomyya – Inavo-Frankivsk

Excursion “Beauty of Ukrainian Carpathians
”. Visit the mysterious waterfall Surf, souvenir market, selling handicrafts made from natural materials. You will feel the fresh mountain air, rich aromas of mountain rivers, grasses and trees that grow only in this area, see the original architecture and feel the atmosphere of picturesque town with a distinctive culture of the indigenous population of the region Yaremche - hutsuls.
Departure to Kolomyya. Visiting Pysanka Museum - one of the most interesting museums in the whole Ukraine. And the aura of its building, unique 13,5 m high stone egg, fills everyone with joy and gladness.
The Museum of Pysanka in Kolomyia was found in 1987 as a brunch of local Rev. Yosafat Kobrynskyi Museum of Hutsul and Pokuttia Folk Art. Lubomyr Krechkovski, one of the employee of the museum, had a dream to create a special place for the greater glory of pysankas, Ukrainian Easter eggs, decorated using a wax-resist (batik) method.
The funds of museum have an abundant collection of pysanky, over 12,000 examples of this unique art, from every region of Ukraine and abroad.

• “Rynok Square. “Rynok” (from Ukrainian – market place) Square has appeared in 14th century and is an example of typical square of medieval Western-European city. It served as a centre of trade and social life of Lvov. Square ensemble consisted of 44 buildings with town council in the middle. Each building of the Rynok Square has its own history and is worth of attention! All 44 buildings were built by request of the elite of Lvov, earls, merchants.
• Lviv University – the Neo Renaissance, Market Square, the Assumption Cathedral
• Latin Cathedral – the oldest site in Gothic style, Armenian Church – 14th century.

Day 7 - Lviv – Olesko – Pochaiv - Ternopil

Castle in the Lviv region…
It is a monument of architecture and history of ŐIII – XVIII centuries. In XIV century it was a powerful ancient Russian fortress. In XV – XVI centuries, the castle became a magnate residence and 1620-s was reconstructed in the spirit of the Italian Renaissance. In 1629, the king Yan III Sobeskiy was born here, who later frequently lived here and gathered a numerous collection of artworks. After restoration in 1965-1975, a museum-reserve was established here. The museum contains hundreds of unique paintings, sculptures, arts and crafts dated X – XIX centuries. It includes icons, portraits, still lives, furniture, sculptures collection. This entire marvelous picture is complemented by a picturesque park, which you may see either walking by foot or while traveling in whirlicote or by riding a horse.

Visiting Pochaiv Lavra.
It is the eastern orthodox monastery (lavra) in Pochaev (Ternopol region). It is the most sacred eastern orthodox holy place in Volyn and the second-important one after Kiev-Pechersk Lavra in Ukraine .
According to the legend, the monastery was founded by monks of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, who fled from Tatar invasion in 1240. The first records in chronicles about it are dated back to 1527. In 1597, Pochaeva Lavra obtained a wonder-working icon of the Blessed Virgin, which was brought to Ukraine in 1559 by Bulgarian metropolitan – Neophyte. In 1675, Pochaeva Lavra was besieged by Turkish, but then they suddenly left the town. The prosperity of the monastery falls at the second half of XVII century due to the activities of hegumen Iov Zheleza (1602-1651). From 1730 Pochaev printing house was operating, which printed 187 books. This Lavra is rich in murals, sculptures and ornaments.

One of the coziest regional centers of Ukraine does not have a lot of architectural memorials. It attracts you by a great many of flowers, clean streets, stretch of the lake that reflects in its surface the ancient temple and the castle.
Ternopil is mentioned for the first time in 1540.
